You can do that with the Max Energy.

I know that they claim it can be done but I remember someone recently that was having trouble with it.

i forgot to ask before, if you tune your jeep stock, then add tires and gears, can you go back into the tune and edit it for the new add-ons?

Absolutely. That's the great thing about it. You can at any time go back and adjust it. If you ever need to take it to get serviced, you can return to stock with the touch of a button.

So far its just a daystar lift kit but its good enough. Got 3100 miles on my Arctic. Ill let you guys know how it goes

I wouldn't mind getting more details about this case. I had to use the feature for the different gears since I have 3.73s in my 2008 and not the 3.21s they came with. All done with the push of a button.

If you have an automatic transmission then it came with 3.73 :2cents:

I can't say that I learned the hard way as I'm not totally dis-satisfied with my RK lift. It does what I intended for it to do...and fits my needs...at the present time. That being said, I know it's not the best option, and when funds allow, I'm going to go the full OME route.

2008s came with 3.21s. It was an option to get the 3.73s that year. After that, I believe they all came with 3.73.

It was my understanding that the 6 speed manuals came with the 3.21 gear ratio ( only the 08 was offered with the 6 speed) But automatics had the 3.73s
If the autos had 3.21s they wouldn't of been able to move out of their own way.

Hmmm now I'm even more curious. It says on the invoice that the first owner upgraded to the automatic, then it also says upgraded to 3.73s.

Thats because when he was placing the order for it,
first he picked the automatic trans which then kicked it to having 3.73s also
same as when ordering a KJ

If you want to be sure, there should be a metal tag on the differential that has the ratio stamped on it.

Met up with renegade today for the first time and we went to discount tire direct and got my tires put on. It didn't rub as bad as I thought it was going to. Got about 17.5 highway on cruise at 70. Overall I'm pleased and I'm so so so so glad I went with 265's. I didn't want to have to spend the money on tires twice. Hope you guys like the pictures, will be more to come tomorrow.

Then of course I had to try them out. Rubbed a little as expected nothing a little fine tuning can't fix.

MEN! I LOVE THAT SETTING. IS THAT DAYSTAR LIFT BEHAVING GOOD STILL?

How do you like them on there now that you've had some time with them?
