I like it as is. I bought my KK over KJ and one reason was the hidden spare.

It's not very practical off road though. What if you get stuck or are otherwise in a position where you can't get the spare out and a tire blows out? You'd have to dig a lot of dirt before it would drop enough to get it out. :2cents:

Just like pickup trucks, always have a flat in the worst possible place and can't access the spare very well
One of the reasons I don't like the KKs

Well as Ry pointed out few people really off road the KJ and KK. Make it basic with option to add to if needed, would serve all users. But just because I don't go to a off road park or out an trail rides doesn't mean my KK isn't used. Many of my roads are seasonal and other roads are poorly maintained. I haul my kayaks to rivers or a trailer loaded with wood, scrap. It replaced a 3/4 ton and a 1 ton 4x4 trucks. I still have the 3/4 I kept it to make sure that the KK could do what I needed. The 3/4 is for sale, but not pushing, nor have i driven it since buying the KK . I have had to adjust to what the KK limits me too. But I knew the limits of it when I bought it. I wouldn't rag on it after years of use and a little miss use. And it has surprised me too, with its ability.

102 lbs. Where have you been? Haven't seen you on the board for a while.

Love your bumpers! (Front and rear) Are you going to sell them? If not have you considered making a pattern available for other home-builders?

Thanks. Yes I'll build them for anyone who seriously wants one. I've started cutting parts for two more front bumpers, which should be ready in a couple months.

No, sorry I don't plan on handing out my templates... I've had a few pm's asking for them.
