I've had my "new to me" '05 CRD for a little less than a month now. Last week I decided to take it off the pavement onto a semi-rough gravel road that includes this creek crossing. I look forward to doing some real off roading in the future but this was a good way to get the "new" off! :JEEPIN:

Can you inform this gentlemen about modifying his differential vent before going in two feet’s of water? Don’t want to « crap » your fun Toolmaker but you may get serious issues…

Just my 2.5 cents…

Hello world!
I am new to this. Had my CRD 2002 4wd for a month. I have much to learn, starting with wondering what kind of modification you talk about here? Please tell me how to modify and what kind of serious issues to avoid. I just bougt new oil and some kind og sealant for my differential. Think a good plase to start caring for my Liberty (They still call them Cherokee over here), is by changing the oils and fluids.
I am from and still live in Norway by the way, please don`t judge me only by the quality of my english writing. Doing my best.
Best regards, Morten

Howdy morrun Welcome to LOST

in general - you need to read over Sam's Noob guide http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=54207
although the emissions control and some other issues are different on yours.

the specific comment about breathers though
