 Post subject: need a ecm

looks like my ecm went out.. had a local shop check it out to be sure..anyone know where I can have mine repair or have a good one for sale for a 2005 all stock

Only have a spare TCM, but remember you will need to get any new ECM flashed with your injector codes before it will work.

How did your ECM go out?

It will work without the specific injector codes. That just makes it run smoother by balancing their individual flow rates.

CAT is absolutely correct, but your VIN needs to be programmed in for a replacement (new or used) to work at all. I would speak to GDE and possibly send yours to them to be sure. They sometimes have used ones available.

Also, you need to determine what killed yours and fix that so you do not fry the next one.
