As long as it doesn't break it will be awsome. I think durability and lifts this size are still a big question mark. Please fill us in on your wheeling experiences.

I wouldn't put the 7 up on, not because of the other KJ owners with the lift, having issues, but at 5.5 inches the KJ is a little top heavy. I would say at 7 inches the thing would be a bear to drive around town and off road, unless you put wheels on it that added about an extra foot of width, I think the thing would be down right dangerous.

I would wait to either I perfect my lift, than you either copy it, and buy the pieces you need, or Superlift should be a good lift. Same principal as mine, but I attacked it differently. In fact I may bug them to sell me the spindles/steering knuckles.

Just as a side note, which will be explained in greater detail, I dropped the entire front carriage, and than lowered the tranny and transfer case. Almost like a body lift. This keeps my drive train at the 3 inch lift mark if you see what I am saying. So in essence, even though my Liberty sits at 5.5 inches, the center of gravity isn't much higher than when I had my 3 inch lift. Little bit more stable. What I lost in lowering the drive train, I gained back using the 33 inch tires.

Al

Just wondreded what you thought. I wasn't even thinking of putting 7" on, i myself think that is a little much for the kj but whatever. I will stick will my 3" lift. Are you going to bring it on the GWNF trip in June?

I think they are looking for the write up and pictures of the lift, not just the posser pics! Maybe if Joe is kind enough, and depends what trails we go on, he could take some action shots this weekend at Rausch Creek with the OK 4WD guys! BTW, I was insulted when I got my conformation from them, it said Liberty, trails: easy! I signed up for Blues!

Hopefully nothing will break and end the weekend prematurely.

I will be at Nor'Easter, do not know about GWNF.

The KJ looks great! I'm hoping we can get a lifted and armored ride set up soon and try some high blue and low blacks.

Well, here it is on the trail ride! everything worked fine, I still need to iron out some bugs, and I managed to put a small hole in my CV joint boot somewhere along the line.

Lots of new freindly ground clearance! The jumping rocks really had a hard time today catching my undercarriage. Boy did I surprise a lot of TJ's today, went everywhere they went, and bested some of them, did high greens and low to mid blues! Lots of rocks. The tires you see are 285/75's MTR in front (very worn, but good for the trail) and Buckshots same size in the back.
