Took it to the dealer to have a TSB done for the torque converter. (See TSB list #10)
I waited there at the dealership for a little less than an hour.

In order to have the dealership work on my Lib, I had to first remove the Hypertech tune and return it to factory settings. (Takes 5 minutes)

Drove home about six miles and the whole time I was stuck saying "Wow, this is unreal!"

Arrived home, time to re-install the Hypertech tune. Now the fun begins. The Liberty's transmission now FINALLY behaves the way it should. My biggest issue was when I'd be approaching a slight hill around 55 mph I'd let off the gas to coast up it, and then it would downshift when I lightly applied pressure to the throttle. THAT ISSUE IS NOW GONE!

So far it has not downshifted at any unnecessary times, and 4th gear feels so much stronger. Overall the trans holds speeds much easier and the drivability has dramatically IMPROVED! The trans is finally realizing what I've been trying to tell it to do. I won't be surprised if my mileage now increases.

Put my trailer hitch on. I bought the Mopar one from burdickauto on eBay. The fit was perfect and installation was a complete breeze!! So easy. 6 bolts and cut out the little plastic piece on the bumper.

I'm posting this a second time because I am so happy after the TSB for the "shuttering" transmission. This baby rides like a dream now.

Finished up the hitch and three skids; transfer, tranny and front. The rivets mopar provides for several skid plate holes are absolutely one of the dumbest designs. I couldn't get the tool to work if that is what they want to call it. I just ran the bolts in and that seemed to work. Waiting on more bolts for the radiator skid and then still need to order the gas tank one.

Does anyone have any suggestions on rock rails?

The fit and function are second to none, dropped onto a rock from over a foot high (the one i was on rolled) a week after I installed them. Once painted, AWESOME. I got compliments from just about everyone that checked out my jeep at southington, once they got over the whole "that's a liberty?" thing.

Great thanks. Guess I will have to wait until they reopen. I have been looking at both and was torn between the JRC and rock lizard. Rock lizard skinks seem to be a favorite on the forums so I will go with them.

I'm also waiting for them to re-open. I need rock rails and roof rails.

Those rock rails look awesome. Even better if they function as good as they look.

Even better. That drop on the rock didn't do anything but scratch the paint. Plus, they fit nice and tight. :D

I could have probably used them the other day. Slid off the road into a ditch and just about ripped off the side skirt.

Yea, they totally would've saved you from that. Plus, with a couple inches of lift, other peoples car doors don't seem to be a problem either :D .

Don't get me started on other people's doors and the way they park. I've developed a phobia over the years and try as hard as I can to never park near people. You should see where I park at work. The average person doesn't care when they open there door full force and WHAM.
