Finally finished my JBA 4" :pepper:  .
Man that was a pain to install. The extended brake lines took 4-5 hours for the professionals to do, I watched the whole time. Apparently my brake lines have some sort of coating than had to be sanded down in order to fit the new lines attached.
It's too late now, but I should have photos up tomorrow after I get the front leveled out and aligned. :JEEPIN:

Awesome. Can't wait to see some pics.

Just like me, gotta watch every step they take. I don't care how crazy it makes you look, it may make them NOT do something REALLY stupid in front of you.

So far the ride is good, but the front keeps droping down to 21 inches. I'm hoping its just the spring settling. But when it is up to 22" I have 16" from the sliders to the ground.
I also want to thank Diggerfreak for answering some of my questions.

That's a sweet set of pics. The progression from stock to Daystar to Daystar @ 6 months to JBA is quite striking. It shows how much the Daystar lift prematurely sags the stock springs. Good job getting it all installed! I'll be interested in any future updates about handing, offroading, and how long it takes the springs to settle out. My JBA lift is still in the box for now, until I can get the time, $$$, and good weather to get it installed.

P.S. I like your roof rack cross bars!

Thanks your DIY crossbars were a good idea, and seem very sturdy.
The daystar didn't really sag that much in front, it just seems like it because I went to larger tires. The rear springs sagged to the point it was more like a 1" lift in the back. When I first put the JBA springs on it sat really high like 24"! From center of wheel. It's now down to about 21.5-22"inches in the rear. The front wont stay at 22" inches for some reason though. It keeps dropping down to 21". Hopefully it will settle and stay.
As far as ride quality. It does take speed bumps smoother. But I get a thumping noise from what sounds like the front strut. Only when I hit it hard though. Hopefully it will quote down when the whole thing settles in.
And becareful when you add the extended brake lines. I hade a brake shop do it and it took them hours with me watching them.
Hopefully if my unit lets me out early tomorrow I'll get to test it out off road! :JEEPIN:

Did you open up the a-arm pockets (vertically)? It looks like it. I get a big of a clunking noise as well on bigger bumps/speed bumps when going fast. I'm nearly positive that it's just the a-arms bumping on that metal pocket.

If you really wanted to get rowdy/be sure it's that noise, get some coolant hose that will fit around the a-arm where it makes contact with the bottom of that pocket. Go hit speed bump, see if noise changed.

Tinted my windows and Plasti-Dip'd my wheels! So I've always been into cars and online communities, don't know how I missed the Plasti-dip craze lol. But this stuff is awesome!

Only pre-Dip/tint pic I have, this was months ago soon after i got her, stock as can be.
Image

Wheels pulled off to be cleaned. Used Simple Green, Meguiars car wash, and then rubbing alcohol after they dried.
Image

Used note card trick to prevent overspray, though I could have just peeled it up anyway (did I mention this stuff is awesome?)
Image

Figured while I was waiting between coats I'd spray the front "Jeep" hood emblem.
Image

Also told my brother about the dip and we tried it on his old faded trim, he's hooked now lol
Image

All sprayed up
Image

Image

Image

All done and wheels back on. It was late by the time I finished so I only have this crappy pic. Will post up better pic with daylight when it stops raining and I can wash her. Tint is 20% on top of stock tinted glass all around except windshield.
Image

I have the Greek Cherokee headlight covers, Philllps X-treme Power HL bulbs, and Nokya yellow fogs en route, should clean up the front a bit. After that I will be saving for my lift (probably OME + Spidertrax and possibly JBA UCA's), then roof rails (hopefully rock lizard has an alternative to RRO) and a basket. Can't wait! :JEEPIN:

That sounds like an interesting theory. I'll have to check the bottom of the a-arms to see if there are and dents or scrapes from contact. But I did shave them down. But mostly the front pockets the rears hsd a little more play.

Well I went to Hidden Falls adverture park today. I didn't take slot of pictures, but I'll post what I got here and in my trip thread when I get back home tommorrow night or monday.

On the plus side: the 4" lift looks awesome 8) . I now sit higher than my two of my friend's JKs. My aproach, break over, &departure angles are much better. It rides a little smoother, not $3.5k :| smoother, but it does ride smoother. And my rear flex is vastly improved.
On the negative side: the alignment shop had a lot of trouble aligning it.
It is much louder over the rocks. Like pops and bangs and un identifyable sounds  (unpleasant sounds). Im still nervous about the rear brake lines, the front CV joints and steering rack. Much of my warranty has been voided. I now "need" 32's or 33's  . Finally I want to do dumber crazier stuff off road. Well th e last one might be a plus :jester:
However, its no fault with Marlins kit. Th ats just what I assume comes with lifting a liberty. If you can afford it and can deal with those problems. Then I recommend it. :JEEPIN:

Nice to see someone dip the OEM wheels just like I did. Makes the wheels look much better! Your Jeep is the same color as mine, and the black rims really bring out the other details on the Jeep. Looking good, Spooky!

Also as a side note, I left my center caps silver and it gives it an even better appearance IMO.

Thanks, but its been awhile since I've used those skills, so I may be a little rusty. LOL but hopefully it may get me out of a ticket. I keep an AID bag in the back at all times and if I ever see an accident and EMS/Fire hasn't arrived yet I usually stop and see if anybody needs help. Where are you from?

JeepNCrowd, Congrats on the new lift.
In one of your Pics it looks like the rear shock remote reservoir hose is laying on the exhaust pipe.
Image
If it is you should move it, or the plastic inside tubing will melt. It can also heat up the fluid and reduce the ability of the shock to function correctly.

I just had my steering angle position sensor re-calibrated. No more unwanted ABS on right hand turns!
Yeah!! 8)

Thanks, it isn't touching though. Just an illusion from camera angle and lack of 3D from picture. How did you recalibrate your steering angle position?

I see, I just helped another KA owner install the JBA 2.5" with the remote reservoir and we had a hard time getting it to not lay on the exhaust. We had to mount it high up like yours and twisted sideways a little.
To calibrate the steering angle sensor, I had to take it to the dealer. They reset the ABS module programming. Then they have to drive a "pattern" to calibrate it. $45 but worth it in the snow. It no longer pulls left because of the ABS traction control kicking in on right hand turns.
