I cleaned the sensor and pulled the hoses. I didn't find any holes, but after about 200 miles they already had a oily residue on the outside of them. Maybe time upgrade to some Samcos
When I was taking one of clamps off, one seemed kind of loose, that may have been the problem, but more driving will see if this fixed the problem.

The P0299 code can be any of a variety of things you might have joggled while doing the turbo including:
1. the loose CAC hose clamp you noticed. I like to install the clamps just past the "hump" in the flange that the hose mounts too; run the clamp down good and snug but no godzilla especially on the plastic flanges on the intercooler; and drive a bit and recheck tightens.
2. a loose or bad boost pressure solenoid - see viewtopic.php?f=5&t=70602&p=757348&hilit=boost+solenoid#p757348
3. improperly reinstalled vacuum lines on the vacuum reservoir "tower" (the black thing with all the hoses behind the air box) including the one going to the turbo van actuator or a melted vacuum line - see viewtopic.php?f=5&t=61240
4. could also be leaky OEM CAC hoses. Holes don't have to be large, are usually on the bottom, and sometimes almost invisible unless you take the hose protection mesh off and do some careful flexing of the hoses. If your hoses feel mushy or your hands get filthy with oil just handling the outside of the hose figure that they need replacing even if there are no obvious holes.
