Well this is a strange one. Driving my Jeep a few weeks ago and the ESP/BAS, TCS and ABS lights come on, WTH?? Keep driving and they go off, ok... Next day no lights, back up 10 feet to leave the house same lights pop on, drive a few miles and they turn off. Now the lighs are on sometimes when I start up the jeep but eventually do go back off. This has been going on for a couple weeks now. Last night I go to leave work and Jeep feels like its bogging down, hit the brakes and it feels like the ABS kicked in on dry pavement,..WTH... the Jeep was fine after that, happened again this morning. I'm thinking I have a bad sensor since it is intermittant and eventually fixes itself, tho it is getting to be much more frequent. Could tempurature be playing a role here as it seems worse when it is colder out, in norhern Indiana it is freezing cold right now. I did replace both fron bearing hubs in fall of 2012 and i'm wondering if one of the sensors could be bad, i still have the old hubs and am thinking about seeing if i can swap the senors out on them. Any sugestions you guys can give would be greatly appreciated!

Probably sensor related but intermittent suggests it may be breaks in the wiring inside the insulation agravated by cold. IIRC some scanners, don't remember which ones, can point you toward a specific sensor location.

I really havent had a chance to investigate it more but I am hoping it is sensor related. I have the GDE eco tune and am thinking of getting the GDE scanner I need to send Keith a email to see if it can read abs codes and TCU codes(girlfriends daughter has a gas Libby with tyranny problems)...

I have a similiar problem going on at the moment. I tried using both my cheap ebay scanner and the GDE Flash tool/scanner and neither could read a relevant code, which is probalby because of the hybrid nature of the bus and where the code might be sitting. I am sure Jeep's equipment could read it but I won't be taking it to them for financial reasons.

I used the wiring diagram in the Service Manual (ABS section) to confirm the continuity of all the wires to and from the sensors. There are only two wires, one a 12V supply and the other the signal wire back to the ABS.

In mine I have the two wheel speed sensors inside the rear hubs, and one each in the front hubs. My wiring is fine. I believe the problem is one of the rear sensors and I have a couple on the way to replace them (one at a time). When fixing it just remember that you need to get the vehicle up to the ABS reference speed in order to get the fault to clear.

It's worth pulling the rear hubs and cleaning up the tone wheels (assuming you have the later model with each wheel sensed). The hub mounted tone wheels get much dirtier than a single tone wheel in the diff. My tone wheels were very dirty from muddy water crossings, and outback dust; so it's worth having a look at them if you do much offroad driving.

Could be air in the ABS modulator. If you've opened up the system its a possiblity. Its a dealer procedure.

I suggest if your going to have it done, have them change the fluid, same labor, two birds with one stone.
