Not charging, or ???
Sometimes although its a PITA you have to pay the piper to not have to spend a bunch "trying" to find the issue

I don't recall the codes, but they were C codes that indicated "high or low voltage to the ECU" or something along those lines. Sometimes the internal backlights will go out here or there. Last night it was part of the shift console out. No battery charging issues.

They found some jacked up wiring under the dash, and fixed that, and same story: ran fine for a day, then same intermittent problem. I looked under the hood at the fuel filter bracket, and I can't tell where it would rub exactly, as everything is wrapped in fabric tape whatever. One day it will run fine. The next, the ETCL will come on, and after some time, it will just lose power and then come back up to speed. On the way to work this morning, I had the cruise on 62 MPH, and it started to act up, but only lost 2-3 MPH, hung there, and eventually went back to 62 MPH. Seldom outright dies, just goes to idle RPM. In fact, hasn't died since last repair 9 or so months ago. Sometimes, I even get a full up CEL/MIL light to come on, but it always goes away. Really been acting up in the cold.

Wow this is a lil much for me to wrap my one brain cell around right at this moment but if I had to guess with a knee jerk reaction, I would say ya have a wiring issue that still needs resolved.

One or two nut zerts, everything else you can bolt on by drilling through the cross member
No need for a lot of hoopla or fancy tools
drill , bolts/nuts washers, wrenches done

Check True value hardware, that's where I picked some nutzerts up at when I needed some.

Lowes in MD didnt have them, didnt check True Value. Bought mine at a place called automotive fastners. Bought a standard size in Grade 8 instead of metric, paid $3 for 20 of them.

need two for the transfer case where it mounts to the frame, other wise you can drill and bolt everything else on, then you don't have to worry about them cheap nut zerts coming loose
Of course that is mainly from folks not knowing how to use them properly but still......................................

gas tank skid takes the same bolts as the hitch If you have the hitch you're good to go

I think they were 13 cents each, other places were $1 each and up. http://www.automotivefasteners.com/
This is where I got them as they are a local buisness here.

Mine didnt have the skid or hitch but the nuts were in place at the gas tank, I just had to clean them good as the threads were rusted.
