Hi KKer's,
I live in the Great White North, where freezing temperatures prevail. I've noticed lately that if I drive my 2008 KK in the morning after warming it up halfway or less (45 degrees Celsius is halfway-normal operating temp is 90-95 degrees Celsius), the auto transmission will fail to engage from a full stop. Or if it does start off, it will shift into neutral instead of shifting into second gear. Then the engine races for a few seconds. so I let off the gas and the transmission shifts into second with a "klunk". This conditon goes away once the engine is fully warmed up. I read somewhere that this condition may be electronic sensor related, rather than a mechanical problem. Haven't had a chance to take it in yet, so any recommendations or similar experiences?
