Old CJ would be fun, right now.....I can't decide what I want to do.

Build the current Jeep
Comanche-trail rig
Volksrod-Hot rod
or a
Porsche 944 cruiser....

I vote current jeep, and sell the MJ to me :seuss:

I mean my jeep doesnt really need anything but bigger tires and I will be happy. Thats why I figure another project would be fun. I just think the Porsche would be a sweet cruiser. Little 2.5 turbo car mmmmmmmm

Had a 944 for like 3-4 days, picked it up at a Goodwill auction , someone had turned it in to them.
Reattached a couple of wires, ran good for what it was. Sold it to a kid that just HAD to have it.
Made 500 for an hours work and a wash job

I'm going to say that if i had to choose a classic vehicle to drive around DAILY it would be a toss up between a 57' chevy truck

or a 72' olds 442

The slants could be made to run good. Local Dodge/ Plymouth garage had an old guy who drag raced one for years. He knew exactly what they could and couldn't do for sure.

^^ that is the coolest thing i have ever done myself
rebuilt a 350 from a 1970s c60 dump truck and built it up from the bottom up (with help)
then i dropped it in this
Image
my dad's old 85 K10 that i bought off him. nothing special but I like it. The sad part is after the rebuild i have only put 412 miles on the truck.

So I had this rattle in the rear of my Jeep for about 2 weeks and couldn't seem to figure it out. I would only do it if the axle went up but never down, one time it would do it on the driver side and the next would be on the passenger. I go underneath and find every loose bolt, nut, dust and rust. :) So cool I must have figured it out.......nope :( ! So fast forward I am coming back to school, I take off my jacket (heat only works on high right now) and lay it on top of my rear seat that is folded up into the tumble mode. No noise at all  . So last night going out to dinner I push my hand on the seat and no rattle, take it off and rattle. Get my food and come back to school, look at the bracket the seat goes into and sure enough there is shiny metal! :dizzy: so after all that...such an easy fix

Thought you could get a laugh out of it!
