I had my timing belt done and had the original ceramic glow plugs changed to the steel ones (104,800 miles).....They all are still good....Anyone know what they are worth? HJ

Most of us gave them away for the cost of shipping. Frankly they're known to come apart at the tip and have destroyed turbo's, valves, etc.

Some people use them still, but I'll never know why, could be because they get hotter faster with the standard ECU programming.

Let your conscience be your guide.

The reason I asked is it seemed like a while back there were people looking for individual ones to replace bad ones that they had.....HJ

I'd keep them as spare and compare them with the metal ones 100k later. I doubt anybody can be that masochistic to attempt replacing a bad glow plug with an old one that can go bad in the next 5-10k, but you never know, lol.

Agreed, used ceramic GP's are worthless to me. I don't, however, have a problem if they were BNIB.
