I just got a 2nd gen fuel head. My question is did anyone do a writer up on the install? Or a few pictures of one already installed so I don't do it wrong.
Thanks

Not that I know of as it's rather simple but since it involves wiring best disconnect battery.
1. undo both fuel lines - push them off don't try to pull them (same as any hose removal)
2. unplug both wires to filter head
3. remove 2 retaining nuts that hold filter head to the bracket
4. lift up carefully and remove wire to WIF sensor on bottom of filter (save the old WIF just in case)
5. open up the wiring cover a bit; cut and splice in the new wiring harness (colors don't match so just go by size). My memory is a bit fuzzy on mounting the new wires to the new plug as they come separate (2 sets of wires - don't ask me why the extra) but IIRC slid the wires into the plug from the front (head side) and clip on the blueish new retaining bracket before splicing. Splice can be soldered with heat shrink tube or quality electrical tape or I used marine grade butt connectors
6. reverse the process to install the new filter head.
7. prime per Sir Sams NOOB video

Enjoy. If I missed anything it should be obvious what to do.
