I`m getting ready to install new Champion Double Platinum spark plugs looking for better performance and fuel economy.. When I removed one to check existing plug I was puzzled by the coil pack? I just loosened the 10mm bolt as far as could and pulled the coil pack up and out.. Is this correct procedure?
what kind of configuration would allow this? please advise Mike
I`m referring to my 2012 Jeep Liberty 3.7

Take those plugs back and get the correct copper core plugs. You will not get any benifit from platinums in the 3.7 and in most cases actually causes problems like misfires and poor performance and mpg's.

I doubt that or not near where the correct copper core plugs would have done.
