Im tired of having my ghetto home brewed cross bars with my kayak strapped on top. I fish from a kayak many times a week and I need to get something more legitimate. I dont care what the price is. If you haul a kayak or two on top of your Jeep, what brands and setup are you using? Part numbers would be appreciated. Post pics too, everybody loves pics!

I like my Ghetto bars.
But when I go kayaking with a club a lot have Thule and Yakima. I believe Mopars are Thules. Many expensive options for both of them. You can get one that swings down in the back so you don't even have to lift the kayak.
They have ones that lock on the side rails and then you can get locks for the kayak.

I can tell you that the Thule square bars suck, they are very howly. I did wrap them in 550 para cord and the sound subsided. The round Yaks may work better. The Thule 450 pack fits the Liberty. Mine is a 09. I intend to haul a Native Ultimate this summer

My yakima bars are pretty bad, but not unbearable. I have the round bars with a wind splitter. I need to get the front deflector just havent goten around o i yet. I usually haul two bikes, but I will probably switch to a trailer hitch mount when I lift it.

Bars are the round ones but Ive heard good things about whisper bars.

I used he railgrab system
and 58" bars i believe
