Just trying to see if anyone would be interested in getting together a group to do a little day trip on Sunday June 4th in the San Diego area. I would have tried for Saturday, but that's my anniversary lol so I’m pretty sure that it wouldn't have gone over so well. I was thinking maybe we could go for a little trail ride starting in the morning and Cook out in the afternoon/evening. Just an idea... I know a lot of you guys have big bear coming up in June but since I won't be able to make that I would like to get together and have a little meet and greet.

Well... Seeing as how i'm new to the area, i was hoping that some of you eager guys would jump in and take charge. I've heard tale of a good place just off the 8 not far from here... and Sandiegodave seems to know the area pretty well. I'm just wanting to wheel and meet some new people lmfao. At this point i would be happy with climbing in and out of someones ditch for 5 hours. it's been far too long.

I've been looking around for places to go in the area, and i've found a couple. One is "CORAL Canyon" it's about 35 miles from Coronado where i live... not sure how far out for the rest of you guys. The other place that i saw was Ocatillo Wells wich if i remember correctly is about 90 miles away. The good thing about ocatillo wells is that it has picnic areas and whatnot. I'm going to call The people at coral canyon and see what kind of fees and everything there are. I'm thinking that it might be the winner since it's way closer and gas is fricking ridiculous lol.

Try to get a hold of Dave down there. He is pretty familiar w/ the areas and usually up for a wheelin trip. I am budgeting my gas money right now for a couple trips so making one down there isn't in my budget right now. Boy if you said we could go back to Los Coyotes down in that area I would drop everything and show up for sure!

I'm still up for a run, I don't mind driving to far if it is good wheeling.

I'm over by mission valley.
