Anyway, walked out of the gym and saw some lady struggling to park a F-150 next to my Jeep. Looked over and her running boards were rubbing on my tires :furious:

Also, got a local shop to start installing a super low body kit and neon, super pumped! 8) April Fools

How are they lifting the body? It's a unibody, I didn't think it was possible. :dizzy:

Ordered my snazzy 7" touchscreen unit, and all mounting hardware/wiring. Screw that PAC box lol, I've never heard of those before.

Changing my oil right now.

Hey guys!

Can I use 85w140 oil on the rear differential instead of 75w140?

Here in Venezuela the mopar oil is extremly expensive, and I mean EXTREMLY!

All I found was a 85w140 for gear and transmision.

Got the gas tank replaced at the $tealer$hip today, hopefully that nasty burping issue will be sorted out. Got my warranty inspection taken care of as well. Also took it through the car wash... had a little too much fun the other day playing on the backroads, it was pretty much covered and caked with crud and mud. Just need to get the oil changed and clean out the interior and it's ready for spring!

I've been having issues trying to get a dealership to do a warranty repair on my drivetrain for a long time. I contacted Chrysler this time and they opened a case for it. Took it to a different dealer and they also refused to touch it because of the lift and tires. Contacted Chrysler AGAIN and was told that they're going to have a factory rep contact the dealer and then talk to me. Hopefully, they'll fix the darn thing. I started ordering parts to do it myself but will probably put those on hold until I talk to that guy.
Also changed the brake light bulbs and the spark plugs.

Curious which brake light went out on ya.

I'd be so pissed at the dealerships if I were you. Not like you're coming in there with a solid front axle swap and tractor tires...

Speak to their manager about the potential of losing a star, and you might be able to get somewhere. Some of the dealerships are just a PITA to work with though. My local one has caused me to go elsewhere a few times before...

I contacted Chrysler and they assign a case number and a person to check it out. Final answer, they'll look at it ONLY if I return it to stock. :furious:
Looks like the repair's on me.
It was the drivers brake light that was out.

Picked up oil & filter at the auto parts store... for the next oil change in about 500 miles.

Second trip to the beach with the JBA Silver on Sunday.
2 trips and no sand in the cross members! Also, only aired down to 24 psi before leaving the house, Jeep did great. So psyched. Not having to air down before driving on the beach and air up before driving home cuts 15 minutes off trip. I did air back up to 36 psi at the house for the weekly work commute. I may try 30 psi for beach and everyday travel.

The money youll save on tyres from driving on road at the right air pressure will buy you an onboard compressor

I'll get the best mileage little over the recommended 32psi. I got 8000 miles after a year on the tires and will get new tires this time next year. Then I'll get some 265s and hopefully keep the proper psi and not have to air down. I can't wear these Wrangler SRAs out fast enough.

After about 500 miles and 2 trips to the beach I remeasured the JBA Silver height. Back was at 21.5" but the front was .5 and.75" lower. Jacked the front, cranked the struts and rechecked after a quick dune trip, 21.5" all around.
