Hello everyone,
In November of 2012, I replaced my old 1991 Subaru Legacy Sports Sedan (Turbo) ... for my dream vehicle:
The 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD Limited!
Here's my "metallic khaki" beauty in the making!

I knew only a bare-bones minimum about the benefits & versatility of the Jeep Liberty CRD when I bought this vehicle. I have been pouring over this site for the past few months trying to get educated and active, and getting the required maintenance milestones completed. Thank you in advance to everyone who has posted so much insightful and detailed information about this amazing all-around-vehicle.
I know there are specific Posting areas for different threads and discussions in LOSTJEEPS.COM (which I will be jumping into soon), so I am simply introducing myself and my KJ.
The vehicle had 115k miles on it when I bought it (five months ago), and hardly any historical repair records to show for it (but ran very well). It has been an adventure trying to figure out what has been done and what needs to be done. I've read through Sam's CRD Noob Guide (which totally rocks) multiple times to try and get familiarized and start from the beginning. Thus far, I've had the Timing-Belt/Water-Pump kit replaced, the Front & Rear Differential fluid changed, Transmission fluid and Transmission filters replaced, new Glow Plugs & Controller Unit, a new Fuel Filter, new higher performance Air Filter, replaced a bad Engine Mount, replaced all Tires, cleaned the MAP Sensor, and figured out that it has the 2nd generation Fuel Filter Head!
Many rivers to cross, and I look forward to reading and posting more very soon.
Thanks again to everyone, and I look forward to talking with you soon.
