When going over speed bumps at > 5mph there is a banging noise from the front end. It happens on decompression. I'm thinking its my a arms hitting my springs. I have OME HD springs up front and stock a arms. I also have a clevis lift using 3 conduit nuts. Has anyone else had this problem?

My arms were hitting with 3 conduit nuts. I solved this by bringing it down to just one and also "clocking" the springs. I marked the position i wanted the springs to be in and removed the assembly, compressed the spring and rotated it a few degress so the arms didn't hit. There is kind of a 'sweet spot'.
JBA arms should also solve this issue.

I figured that was what it is. Guess I'm saving for JBA a arms...

If the UCAs are hitting the spring you should be able to tell with the marks left on them.
Like mentioned lower it or JBA UCAs
Spring/UCA contact noise is easy to hear since its a different sound than anything else, like boing ( spelling ?? )

Check the sway bar links. Mine kept coming loose and banging every time I hit a bump. My first thought was the UCA but there's no evidence of it hitting on mine

Yeah it definitely sounds like a springing "boing" noise. I'll check for marks today

lol true that.

JBA's A-Arms are on my list of stuff to get. I have heard from a lot of guys around here who have solved the problem of that awful banging noise by swapping them out. Its rly bad around RI after the winter because we never repair any roads ever lol. Does anyone know if the banging is actually damaging (besides to your head) or its just annoying?

FYI I installed Al's arms and it fixed the problem. They also helped with alignment too. These things are great even if they are a pain in the booty to install.
