has anyone ever taken there doors off there liberty? if so is there any quick disconnects for the hinges or do you just always unbolt the hinges everytime? and is the wiring harness just a plug?

It doesn't look natural on the KJ to have the doors off. Not like how it does with other Jeeps.

I know in some states it's illegal to run without doors and no lip on the floor to prevent stuff from falling out like a TJ. I've seen XJ's doing this and think it looks terrible.

Lol I haven't done my liberty yet but when I did my Xj I took the pin and trimmed it in half the put a tac weld to hold it in the door that way once I unplugged the wiring harnesses I made it would lift out just like the wrangler doors

if you are going to take your doors off the only way to do it right is to make half doors

The issues with taking the doors off the KJ is the same as taking them off the XJ you flex it to much multiple times good luck getting them to line back up. Down here you can run anything with the doors off the boys do Toyota trucks the same way. And a lot of them wheel the truck then can't figured out why the doors won't seal like the used to.

Yeah a lot of them do it down here too (an hour away from you). I saw a moron twist a Tacoma up so bad he couldn't get the doors back on.

not to be a richard back, but that was a dumb question to begin with. Common sense answer....Do you see any KJ's on the road or parked with doors removed? No? Then there are no "quick connect" hinge pins.

and on a KJ, it doesn't look stupid, but doesn't look right.

Haha using that logic I would assume that liberties never got lifted or anything but driven to soccer games since that's all I see around town!

True! I have only seen 2 lifted liberties in person... one was on jackstands at the time and the other passed me by one day and I've never seen it in town again.

A quick release pin kit wouldnt be that hard to make for a KJ but it would take some time and some careful measuring cutting and drilling. Got Mill access?
