Will a 06/07 3.7 mount up the same on an 04? i know there were a few things different on the 07 than the 04 but everything will be getting switched over on the 07 engine. Just wanted to know if it would mount up right before i spend the $. Are the sensors in the same place? I will be using my 04 tb so i won't have a problem there. Fuel rail and everything in the same place? Alt,psp, and everything else in the same spots? Thanks

I think TwoBobsKJ did a similar swap. Here's his writeup for more info:

Thanks for the help!

Now i have another question. I was just told that the engine is a Canadian LP Natural Gas 3.7 engine from an 06 Jeep Liberty. Anyone heard of this? is it the same as the 3.7 gas engine just a converted or what? i would hate to spend the $ if i can't use it. All i need is the bare block and bare heads. If i can use it i would be getting a killer deal. thanks

There is one major difference between the two. The timing tone wheels on the crankshaft and cam have to match your computer otherwise you'll need to swap the original ones back in. Which means a rebuild. Pop off the passenger side valve cover and look at the tone wheel. That will tell you what version you have
