Hello,
I just finished installing my new A-arms and I must have bumped a cable because now my check engine light is on and the Jeep is driving horribly. The battery is new and tested as good but it takes holding the ignition on for like 5 or so seconds to finally start. Then when I drive the engine cuts in and out so hard that the jeep lunges back and forth. Its pretty undrivable like this. I got a generic scan that says bad camshaft position sensor and another for bad knock sensor. Im thinking I bumped an electric cable hard enough to pull it out slightly. anyone know where I should begin looking or should I just bring it in to a mechanic?
Thanks
Sam

The cam sensor is on the passenger side head, just under the valve cover towards the front of the engine, the crank sensor is also on the passengerside but on the side of the block by the trans bellhousing. The knock sensors are located underneath the intake manifold and requires intake manifold to be removed to change them, there are 2.

Thanks for telling me the locations. I remembered bumping an electrical plug around the camshaft yesterday but it didnt knock it out or anything. I reached down there after your message and pushed on the plug connector and it made a very slight click. must have bumped it ever so slightly because that little wiggle i gave it put everything back to normal!! No more engine cutting out and no more check engine light :D :D Now its time to go out and test my new JBA A-Arms :JEEPIN: :SOMBRERO:
