I ended up using an open end wrench, from the under side. I then took off the CAC hose and used a socket with a couple of extension to get it the rest of the way off. I have the new one in with the bolts in place, just need to thread on and tighten the nuts. I have read in another thread that the nuts should not be tightened until the tire is back on and on the ground, is this true?
I also am planning on replacing the strut, spring, and axle of both sides of the front(and hub on the drivers side), and the shocks on the rear this weekend. The Jeep is in my driveway with no shelter, I was planning on doing the other work at my dads under his shed. My question is that now that I am so far into the front end, should I just do the rest of the work here, or button everything back up just to tear it back down again?
1. True
2. I wouldn't want to do it twice, but depends on weather I guess.
