Over the last couple of evening I've been attempting to install my lift.

The instructions say's "remove outer axle nut using 1 7/16 socket" and then there's an image of the hub apart from half shaft.

Hub and half shaft are out. Instruction say not to remove from the diff. But it didn't happen that way. I've been trying to separate the two with everything I have BFH, pullers, liquid wrench, WD-40, pry bar, etc. need to change the lower ball joints with the Moog. Anyone with helpful advice, or pointers, before I break out with the torch.

As usual thanks to all.

I used a wheel puller to press the shaft out of the hub.(I think that is what you were asking)

Mine was pretty stuck too. I got the puller as tight as I could get it, soaked it with pb blaster, and finally had to take a light hammer to it. Thought I was going to have to get the impact out.

Thanks again for the info. I bent a puller yesterday, became frustrated after trying for over an hour to break it loose. Finally, decided to give it a break and let it soak in WD 40 over night. Today, I tried it with the biggest puller I could find and bingo, it came undone.

By the way the moog lower ball joints with the zerk fittings, they have splines and the hub where the ball joint goes in is a smooth surface. Is that right, I thought both mating surfaces should be the same? Anyone that has replaced the LBJ with Moog please help?

Those splines help keep the LBJ in the knuckle better, tighter fit.

Another question? Are the Jeepin by Al's A-arms ambidextrous?
Or is there a left and right, and if so how do you tell them apart?

For the KJ it does not matter what side they go on,it does for a KK.
