Found out mom has the C-diff bacteria causing diarrhea and she still can't eat, they are doing a scope down her throat today to see if anything up top is making her throw up.

Phone Interview today with 3 people on their end
hate phone interviews but..... first they send me a list of do's and don'ts this morning with across the top, THIS WILL BE A PROFESSIONAL INTERVIEW
OK I'm ready
They call
of course with the road construction right out front this week there were two track hoes running, a dozer and large loader PLUS 4 trucks coming in with top soil and stone. So at least beep beep beep beep from 8 vehicles at any one time.
First they ask me to please shut off my computer.....OK its not even on.
Well could you tell your wife to shut off whatever is making that beeping sound......well my wife is in Tanzania so don't think you can hear her beeping......so I explain what it is. Woman says" well you must live very close to the road in a bad area of town then" What??? Bad area WTH??? But I let it slide, she then asks what my wife is doing in the Bahamas......I say"well for one Tanzania is not in the Bahamas and second that is not a question you can ask me". I hear one of the men say that is correct and "well!!!!" from the lady
It goes on and finally I get told the same old song and dance, but they ask if I have any questions, so I ask about retirement / insurance etc etc just to keep them going and then since I know more than likely I won't get the position anyways I say " One last question, do you require everyone to wear shoes when they come to work"
I did get a chuckle out of the two guys ! :ROTFL:

They both Thanked me and said they would be contacting me very soon she didn't say a word

I've had so many people look at me strange when I say where she's from and then say Oh thats part of Australia, to India, to even one thought it part of Russia. But this lady at least had it closer, maybe next trip it won't be $3500.00 for a round trip ticket.

Too bad ya don't have a trials bike, that would be a ton of fun! :pepper:

Go out there in the middle of the night and take a great big dump in one of them drainage pipes with a lil note asking where the paper is. A nice simple statement is all it is :ROTFL:

...Or make a little campfire and leave a note saying someone told you to "put that in your pipe and smoke it", and that this was the best you could do...

I was blocked in for a day, made it out today and laid some brick in Toledo
All done with that project except laying two more brick and laying the top stone on.
Someone walked off with two of the bricks ( tore down a wall beside some steps and was relaying it) Grabbed two bricks from the neighbors, think they are the same kind as whats there now.

Daryl, thats a good excuse for why your's is dirty all of the time but well I know you're not out there everyday :goink:

was thinking the same thing, had one of those for a while back in 76-77 or so was fun but no seat :shock:

They only have two left laying here now, need about 6-7 more from the looks of it

maybe tomorrow , I have the measurements etc I want to use, thinking 2 inches closer will work but then the "hoop" will have to be cut and rewelded by someone mmmmmmmmmmm :roll:

crap just thought if I do that then........heading to the garage to check that out

Well it's a bit after 1 am, I wonder if my neighbors would get upset if I started a project outside involving a saw :shock:

Maybe I go grab a cold one and fire up the leaf blower to see if anyone objects to that first, then maybe ease on into the saw :pepper:

Sure start with the leaf blower first,

By the way, think "we" could shorten the bars on the bumper 1.5 inches per side , bring them in closer ?
