Waiting on a package that weighs only 3 lbs coming from Colorado
Now check this out, its in Maumee only what like 20 minutes away
got there early yesterday but won't be delivered until Thursday ????

Shipped out from there Saturday, so taking as long to deliver 20 miles as it did coming across the whole country

tomorrow very high winds/rain and they keep saying to button down the hatches and get ready for this storm

but :oops:

Oh another invoice from Immigration for my wife
paid 88 bucks on the 21st
invoice yesterday for 230, paid that today
then will have another one for 230 for something else in another week or so I guess
Then will start on my step sons hopefully
so about another 778.00 before they HOPEFULLY ship all paperwork to Tanzania
THEN the fun starts over there for them
After their fun and games, Immigration has added another twist when they get here
After they are approved in Detroit getting off the plane, they will be given a place to send 165 each for their Green Cards. ( this part is new and just went into effect not long ago)
Oh plus a couple of thousand each for airline tickets
I may have to come out of retirement yet :ROTFL:

Got er fixed. Rear u-joint at the axle was ceased.

Hence why I thought they were OK with no play. Doh! Spicer 1310x non grease able. :cool:

Well .... got an airline ticket for my wife yesterday to San Diego. Her Mom was diagnosed with lymphoma. (Leukemia) She was not doing well the past couple of months and wouldn't go to the doctor! :roll:

Now, when she finally did ..... this. It's not looking good at this point. They have admitted her to the hospital to start treatment right away. I just got Jeri on the first flight we could manage. It's a one-way ticket and I told her to stay as long as she is needed, we'll worry about the return ticket whenever she decides it's OK. If you do , please pray for her mother, Ardelle Meckel.

I've been lurking but not posting - ya'll been busy!

Hey Larry, prayers sent for your wife and mom-in-law. That's a tough situation, especially with the distance - hope you get good news soon.

Tom, you've got me intrigued. Another package with a fun new "something?" But then you have to fork out the dough for your wife and stepson's immigration stuff. Seems like a lot of red tape - even for the gubb-ment :shock:

Thinking about what I want to do next to the KJ - not important in the grand scheme but keeps me dreaming.

Grabbed some stainless steel brake lines for the rear of the KJ, you know the ones JBA sells for 185.95, got a pretty good deal. So eating cheap mac and cheese for a week but worth it :wink:

So if anyone who has a rear disc brake equipped KJ can use them, well any except ones with ESP.

My wife's papers are in the final stages, its just really stupid how they each week send another invoice for more $$$. Almost like a ransom. Not sure where my sons are sitting at though. Hopefully they get on the ball as they would like to come over in December (for a visit) and to get things going as far as job/ college for him etc. 12/08/13 will be 5 years
