Drove a moving trailer from Sioux Falls, SD to Wichita, KS... Driving into the wind on the way back = sucked.

Maybe cut it and get a "turn down"?
Is it custom or did you order this exhaust?

I had a shop chop off the stock and throw a super 44. I had a turn down in my FJ that reverberated pretty bad in the cab but it was nice and loud. The muffler is still out of the way enough to do a turn down.

You may want to rethink having your exhaust exit under your jeep like that. Carbon monoxide has a way of rearing it's ugly head inside causing all kinds of problems. :2cents:

Just curious of the reason why you have your exhaust coming out the side. Wouldn't the person exiting the Jeep have to step into it?

I see where you are coming from, but I would think that with the height of our jeeps we would be OK. And especially if its turned down. Idk I'll probably leave it til I decide exactly what I want to do.

That's what she said! :) well I used different words.

No your Jeep isn't high enough that you can turn down the exhaust and be safe.
Guys will know when they have exhaust poisoning. Or rather there significant other will.
Of course that's if you don't die.

You can kinda see the damage done from the pipe bouncing against the underside, causing the plastic to become melted.

Looks like you park against a curb every night/day :-)r because it looks like your side walls are going to wear out before your treads do

Drove it to work today, I know thats what everyone does everyday.. but today it was huge for me. It was the first time i've driven it longer than a few miles after having a misfire in cylinder 3. Sunday night I changed the plugs and what a difference it makes.

The Jeep is running better than when I first bought it, and it idles smooth now. I'm not sure why the plugs went out at 19k miles, but i'm going to assume that its because it's a 4 year old vehicle. I have no idea the kind of maintenance the previous owner did to the vehicle. I'm betting that they did very little and it sat a long time. It only had 14.5k miles on it when I bought it, so it sat for a while.

Also has a set of new tires, so its looking good!

We just moved from NY back to tx. I was parking basically on the curb because our streets were so narrow. Now I park mainly in the driveway. I planning to get new tires but also saving for a house.

Ordered my rear OME springs last night and finally going to put the whole lift on before winter gets here. I dont know why I waited so long, but I guess a hurricane or two can set things back. lol

Also got around to ripping off the driver side plastic molding.

Destruction begins
flares first
transmission next if no regear
should of stayed with 31s

Is it possible to properly run 265/75r16s on the KK? (i.e., with regearing, right wheel, and 4" lift)

You'd have to do the pinch welds and use different rims to change the backspace. I don't know what backspace would be necessary but stock won't work.
Regear would definatly be necessary. 4.10's might be ok but 4.56's would be much better.
4" lift would probably do it.
You could run 32's but it'll be a lot of work and money.
When you regear would be the time to put in some kind of locker or limited slip. There won't be any extra labor while it's apart.

Plus you'd have to do a adjustable coil over lift as well
The Econo lift wasn't designed for 32s and really not 33s on the KK
KJs are a little bit less constrictive as far as the space we all have to work with.
I hope the poster above just installed the 33s as a joke if not good luck to him
