I couldn't say much about the "sunset the legacy Sirius satellites," but it sounds like the module's shot. You could try another antenna, but without being able to change channels sounds like it's locked up / frozen.
Caution: Sirius is in money gouging mode and I ordered a replacement module and changed my mind on models within 15minutes and they already placed the order and "couldn't back it out," so charged me a restocking fee of $15.

And they've automatically renewed my subscription, unexpectedly. But that won't happen again, I've gotten a replacement credit card.
