Hey everyone,

I went on a trail ride on Sunday night and as we left the lot, I plugged my CB into my cigarette lighter to power her up. No dice. The light indicator on the plug didn't light up.

Haven't had time to look into it but does anyone have suggestions for where to start? I'm going to dig into it tomorrow.

Thanks :JEEPIN:

I'm having the same issue. I haven't done much research on it as of yet but is it possible the fuse burnt out or something along those lines? :?:

That was my original thought, although I want to make sure that the actual fitment of plugs is working too (worried that something got jammed/bent or along those lines)

It could be the fuse that is in your gps lighter adaptor. I've blown up several of those in the last few years, and it's never been the lighter/power outlet itself.

Mine was the socket. Replaced it with a "chevy style" one from autozone with the orange light up bezel. Works perfectly. Just a thought...I tested the power to the back of the socket, had 12v but none of my plugs worked.

Update: fuse ended up just being popped  oddly I had taken the fuse out when on a night run and didn't notice the burned out spot in there, but the problem is simply solved!
