I think if you go and look up the TSB's for the Dodge PU that uses the 545RLE trans, I seem to remember they had the same problem. All I know is the tech sealed my dipstick at the tranny with the RTV and I haven't had the problem that so many here has, and the service writter at the dealership that bought a CRD had them do the same to his rig. Must be something to the problem I would think.

Well all these parts seem to come out of the same bin, don't know why it wouldn't apply to the CRD too. They think I'm nuts.
