Hello,
First posting. I have a 2011 KK, my first Jeep. Traded in a 13 year old Dakota 2x4 for it. So far, so good.

We have sevearl small children in or neighborhood. I want to install a backup camera with a mirror mounted monitor. I have been researching and found the wired type systems have much less interference than the wireless types. Does any one have suggestions, or maybe there are prior posting about how to run the necessary wiring from the rear hatch to the mirror. I want to hide the wires as much as possible to keep to interior apperance as much factory as possible. Thanks in advance

Harry

I installed a backup camera by holesawing a hole into the hatch above the window (2006). I think one mounted lower would be of benefit to you. I ran the wires along under the left side of the interior compartment. Amazon has a selection of kits available as well as E-bay.

Good Installation Info here:

Edit:

This may be better, as it shows headliner removal: Note this is for Sat. antenna cable but it should be almost the same run
