Mobil 1 5-W-40 Qts. Turbo Truck Diesel Oil $1.00 @ Autozone

Heads up! Was at my local Autozone store to pick up some more gallons of Mobile 1 TTD 5W40 that is on sale when a manager asked me if I could use quarts instead. He informed me the quarts were $1.00 each (=$4.00 a Gallon). :shock:

I cleaned out all he had! :BANANA:

Drove to another town 50 miles away today and cleaned out another store of 16 quarts, the counter person was totally unaware of the price. Not sure if this is true all over the country, but give it a try if your local store has any in stock....

This is an incredible deal!

Yes I know, I had just bought 18 gallons of the stuff. Now I got 24 3/4 gallons of the stuff. Never plan to buy oil for my diesels again! :rockon:

Be sure and get them to scan a quart to check for the 1.00 price. Shelf price did show 8.99 as HJ stated.

it is not in stock here too but i bet this is the same thing a last time even store employees do not know about this and to confirm ask them to ring the sale through and then you will know if it drops down to a buck at the point of payment or not and if it does just buy one and then head down to local wally world to clean them out with your receipt in hand.

Did they have to hit any other buttons after they scanned it? At one of the auto zones I went to the 12.99 gallon price did not come up, she had to hit another button and then the price was corrected

Nope, just scanned one of the quart containers bar code. price came up 1.00

Just called 2 Autozones here in NC. Both said they don't sell it by the qt. the one store said it might be on sale because they may be phasing out the qts of the 5w40 TDT and that's why it was so cheap. I'm gonna call the other Autozones around here.

So it is on sale here in MA, but I have not been able to find any. Those 2 stores i went to were sold out.

The autozone i went to had a tag that stated it was $1, but like i said they didnt have any left at the point anyways

The walmart I checked had absolutely no Mobil1 TDT, gallons or quarts. They didnt even have the stickers on the shelf

The quart scanned as $8.99 in Nashville, I had her check, twice.

I did pick up 2 Gallons for $12.99 per though, saved about $35 there.

I'll keep an eye on it, because they had about 40 quarts, and if it goes to $1, I'm buying all 40 of them.
