The only reason why I'm asking is because I don't have the room to do its at the moment but is anyone working on making rock sliders for our KK's that replaces the side plastic that everyone is taking off anyways?

I saw a picture of a red Jeep Liberty KK somewhere online that had done this already but in Austraila plus I asked where to buy and they didn't respond.

I will try to find the photo.

EDIT: FOUND IT!!!!! here is the link but also some of the pics

Jeepin by Al's 4Xguard line for the Grand Cherokee has done it, and JBA's blue KJ with the 6 inch lift has them too. You could email Marlin about whether KK sliders are in development. Here is a gallery of the 4Xguard sliders on a WK: http://4xguard.com/side_guard_gallery

Honestly I like my RL sliders. They keep the black plastic thing protected anyway. Plus the nice 1" tube steel bar helps me get in with the lift and tires on. Lol

That's my Red KK JeepMonkey190. Sorry, I never saw your question so not sure where you posted it. As the original link you posted said I had them made up by a 4WD Fabrication shop local to me, you can't buy them off the shelf so to speak. That being said there isn't anything overly difficult or technical about them, there just extremely solid and well built.

A good fabricator would be able to reproduce them easily.... I've probably posted enough pictures to go by

Usually around $420 the last time I checked for the most constructive ones

You're looking at around $400 or so, maybe a little more, maybe a little less. It all depends on where you go for it. If you want a better quality slider, you're gonna pay more.

You'll still have the plastic though. There aren't any sliders on the market that replace those yet.

If you want sliders like Mikzor's you're gonna have to have them custom made. That could cost more, or it could even cost less. All depends on what the fabricator/welder wants to charge ya.
