I've posted this in the "random" thread, but just thought I'd let you all know I adjusted my headlights this morning and got to drive a few miles during the night.
Seems greatly improved by aiming them down a bit.
So regardless if you have a lift or are still stock, I'd suggest adjusting the headlights down a bit.

The second of the things I was going to do. Both haven't been done.
Hood struts and cabin filter!

Yeah, it'd difficult to open the hood in the dark. How come we have no underhood light?

It's a DIY mod. There's a few threads on it. I think some sort of Cadillac hood struts were used if I remember correctly.

This is what I have. Works great! Not as cheap as a DIY project, but looks and behaves like stock, and is easy to install. It comes with good instructions.

Thanks!!! This is the route I am going to go.

I found a DIY on another forum but the price is about the same and the fab work is all done with this kit.

Thanks again.

I just ordered a new LED tail light since my driver's side is on the fritz. It must not like these cold temps because it was out yesterday morning. A quick tap on the lense and it came back on, only to go out again. I really don't feel like changing the bulb especially when our forecast is for single digit highs the next few days and lows in the teens below zero.

It's a bit noisy on the road, but has a nice "humming" sound to it.
Also, its got great traction in the snow, kept it in 2WD the whole time
for 2 days straight and still lots of snow on the ground.
