247-75-16 on stock 02'
I have them on, just haven't gotten around to my lift yet....
they are a hand full, especially at full turns and flexing.... next step is to pull out the fender well lining and wait for the $ to toss the lift on....

245/70/16 General Grabber A/T 2's at stock height, no rubbing yet.

Full turns and some drive ways.... but remember that the 02 is and inch higher then all the others.... this is due to the fact that there was a roll over problem so they lowered everything after 02 by an inch......

Yeah i knew they wer lowered after 2002. I was just thinking of getting some 02 springs to get some extra height with out actually goin with a lift.

OK, so 245/75-16s are not a good idea to put on a stock 04KJ (no lift)??? Eventually I want to put a small lift on my girlfriends KJ. IT's got all the skids and hooks and it's time she started to follow me up some trails a bit without bottoming on all the ruts.

I've been searching and 245/70 seem fine, a tiny bit of rubbing is not big deal. But she has a really steep driveway and loves to hammer on up it....she'd probably get some serious rubbage, eh? Would an 8" wide wheel help the situation with a tiny bit of backspacing, or is it a fender clearance issue, as in need more lift??

You won't fix the problem by removing this rear fender liner as there is metal behind it. The problem is the inside edge of the tire hits there at an angle.

The BS will do it. Only becomes a fender (top) issue at over 255/70

Get in touch with MUTT, he has it figured out. Ask him what BS he is running.

When you lift a little, BS, and put on the other shocks. That one tire you have off the ground will be either touching the ground or close to it. Use the same spot for comparison.
