Thanks for the link I will have to check it again but that's how I did it set tension then torqued the cam pulleys. Think I have a fuel issue it was running great for about 10 minutes then I tried to back out of the driveway and started to studer and I turned it off. Tried to restart and it acts like it's not getting fuel. Fuel filter on order.

I would guess that's your problem. If you install a 3 inch piece of clear hose on fuel housing where it comes out of the filter toward the pump. Then you can see if you have air in fuel issues. Or clean fuel. I went to Lowes got some hose and fittings with clamps. It has been installed for most of 20k with no issues.

Good luck

Yeah, new filter and 2nd gen fuel head definitely.

If it ran for 10 minutes, there's probably not an issue with your timing belt job.

This is how I see mine on the inlet to lift pump, a glass prefilter to protect the pump, the outlet does not matter because it is positive pressure any ways.

Notice the nice Red Top battery as well. :goink:

Don't be confused with the need for a lift pump. There is no need to use one on a 2nd gen fuel head with a good tight fuel system.

The use of a clear hose on the outlet is to see if any air is exiting the filter toward the pump.

Regards
