Just got back from the shop with a quote and when I got home my tax return arrived.
Time to deposit it and I should have the tires on by this weekend!

One of these days you'll stop caring about miles per gallon and watch the smiles per gallon. That's when you'll go wider and taller lol

I hope so. I know it's becoming an "outdated" tire, but it's made a name for itself. I love how it looks, too. IMO better looking sidewall than the Duratrac. :goink:

Had all the fun I needed to with my last car with 8 m.p.g., 300 hp, loud as hell, and custom everything. It's nice to go more than a 100 miles without filling up.

I forget what those things are called on the sidewall of the Duratrac are called, I know they're for function, but they look like parts of a vampire's scrotum or something.
I'm a muscle car guy and new to the Jeep thing, so I'm a bit biased to BFG's. Regardless of what I chose, I think we can agree it'll be at least 5 times better than the Wrangler ST's with 58K on them.
Bought 5 of them since I picked up my OEM rim the other day for a full size spare/5 tire rotation.

One of these days I'll get my 71/72 Chevelle convertible for that fun. Honestly I have the money(I think for the most part), I just gotta find the car. And I've seen 8.5mpg when playing in the snow. I think it came out to around 150miles on that tank lol

Mine was a 1977 Plymouth Road Runner. Super rare car.
Get a Mopar, not a Chevy "me, too" car.

What can I say, I'm a GM guy lol. If I wanted a Mopar I'd probably be looking at a 70 Charger or similar.

This is why I want the Chevelle, Gage.

Image

My dads old 72. Started as a Malibu but the previous owner converted it to a Chevelle and put a 4 speed manual in it. 350 small block(of course my dad worked it) and AC! Lol

Only difference with my plans is that I want to drop a 454 in it. I have the engine sitting on the side of my house. It's one of the spares we had for our speedboat. I just can't remember if it's the camed 4bolt lol

I'm sure it's a nice car. I wouldn't be caught dead in one, though. Mopar or no car as the saying goes. It's in my blood.

pfffft. It's really what I grew up with. That thing was not slow. I used to do some 0-100 runs for fun. Chevy's are too easy, everything is interchangeable. Mopar, nothing is like that. :banghead:
