Good morning Lost Jeepers.

We survived the wind and thunderstorms last night.

Beautiful day here today.

Thunderstorms and high winds expected this morning. I'm in the middle of an office building on the 5th floor so I won't hear a thing I'm sure.

Probably the same storm we had last night.

We just had a thunderstorm roll through. I was staring out of my office window here at work, and i swear lightning just hit our building. It was so loud, and our lights went out and back on real quick. The rain was coming down pretty hard too.

What oil did ya go with? Have fun up there. Some people give up and make someone do it for them. I have no trouble with it. It gets easier the more you do it.

So I checked my tire pressure this morning... 50 p.s.i.
I'm a bit surprised they put that much in.

I run Mobil1 in everything and have never had an engine issue, not going to stop now. :D

Suppose to be in the mid 50's today so I will probably change it today.

E rated tires are heavy duty and can normally hold more air. I guess the shop just has a "fill to this psi for this rated tire" philosophy lol.

Chalk test it and see how far down you can go to get the softer ride back.

Ironically that's the only thing I won't do on my vehicle. Usually manage to get the dealership to do a oil change and tire rotation for between $15-20 so I let them enjoy the headache.

I've definitely had this in mind since reading about the chalk test.
Honestly, the ride is great, and if it passes the chalk test, I'll keep the high p.s.i. for mileage purposes. I want to make sure it'll wear the tread evenly.

A frosty 19 degrees here down in KS. Went to check the weather to see if I wanted to run this morning or afternoon.... Yep that decided things for me real quick!
