So, I was under the Jeep over the weekend changing my drivetrain fluids and I noticed a leak coming from the radiator. It looks like the common problem that a lot of other KJ owners have of a crack in the upper driver's side plastic of the radiator. I plan on replacing it soon. My question is...

While I've got the radiator out, and the coolant drained, should I consider some preventative maintenance on the rest of the cooling system? Specifically, should I change out the thermostat and/or water pump? Are these known to fail, or am I in good shape? For references I'm almost at 100k in an '04 V6 4WD.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what brand replacement to buy? Probably going to go through rockauto. They have

TYC for 86
Vista-pro for 95
Spectra Premiuim for 110
PRO for 113

T-stat, get it from the dealer. Not much price difference and a lot better quality. Radiators, lots and lots of problems with Chinese aftermarket radiators. Most everyone says just get it from the dealer. Hoses, belts, Napa. Rock auto may be ok for those items though. HOAT coolant. Zerex G05 is the same stuff just yellow.

I got good year epdm hoses, two other small good year heater hoses(only rubber epm heater hose you can buy, most are crimped to metal), and a gates 195 thermostat from rock auto.

I would get a radiator with a lifetime warranty, does napa offer that?

My stock radiator has lasted this long, i may go for a mopar one when mine goes.
