You will need at least an air filter. Spark plugs need to be changed soon along with differential fluids.

15-20K is good maintenance on them. Cheap and easy to do yourself.

15k seems very early to me unless it's been over two years.

I do mine every 25000 or so, most say 30,000 on the average

I went and looked at two XJs tonight and I guess I was a little naive in how I thought it'd run.

Both were money pits.

Same here unless its been hard driving. My first was around 25k timing was just right, just passed 47k ('08 with less than 50k compliments of the DoD...) and they needed it (few big moves and hauling a moving trailer across country a few times).

Good 'old NGK spark plugs do the trick. Buck 95 at your local auto store!

That sucks man, everything I've seen listed around here are all either in horrible condition and/or they want way too much for it.

Dropped the Jeep off at the dealer this morning. It'll be nice to have it thaw a bit in their shop considering it was 0 degrees at my house this morning.

Officially -24. But the other day officially was -2 and my KK said -7. Not going out for another hour or so. Sun is shining so temp should be rising.

Well there's an 89 XJ in amazing condition but it was blowing smoke. He wanted $3300 for it. No way I'd spend that on it. The 91 I looked at seemed fine but then I drove it. It was terrible driving and I probably drove 100ft before I turned around.

I'm going to skip that idea and just add more to the Liberty.

So last night my wife daughter and I made a trip to Myrtle Beach. Not in the KK but in her Hyundai the mpgs are amazing.

We take a shortcut sometimes down a two lane highway through the middle of no where. This saves us about 20 min of driving.

We were making good time and I was going maybe 60 mph in a 55. When I saw a man standing in the road and a couple of cars pulled off to the side. I then saw a F150 upside down in a ditch and a man yelling "Is anyone in there?" I pulled over and ran out to see if I could help just as a guy smashed the rear passenger window and grabbed two ladies and a dog.

Thank God they were wearing their seatbelts because they wouldn't be here today otherwise. The truck was badly smashed. They were fine and I went back to our car and somehow 911 was able to track my wife's cell to see where we were.

I am certain speed was a factor. Since it was an open highway with no traffic. Moral of the story is don't drive like an idiot and wear your seatbelt.

Wow, Michael. That's pretty crazy.
Last night I filled air in my tires, but then realized my tire gauge was broken. :banghead:
Bought a new one this morning. Not 100 percent sure how much air was in there to begin with, but I'm now driving with them at 52 psi for now.
