Not so complicated at all
You want to run 265-75-16s
you get a proper 4 inch lift
you regear to at least 4.10s
run the right wheels
and then you have fun
Not complicated at all as you can see

By the way what are the measurements from the middle of the wheel to bottom of the flare in front on yours ?

52 cm= 20.4724 inches.
So just over an inch higher than new stock height then

Tire size doesnt influence measurement from center of wheel to bottom edge of flare.

Lift requirements aside, how much power do you regain while running either a 235/85 or a 265/75 when switching to 4.10's. I have a basic understanding how gears work but switching to 4.56 would run better?

From a gearing standpoint -yes - however from a putting them in a Liberty - no

the Aluminum front diff has different gears than the steel - longer pinion shaft

therefore the 3 gearsets that will fit are a rare 3:54, common 3:73 and less common 4:10 - that's it.

now if you upgrade the front with JeepinAll's Steel front diff housing - or go all out with SFA -
you have more options and a lot more money invested.
