2009 with almost 23.5k miles. I measured from the center of the cap to the fender.

When my KK was parked next to my sister in laws '12 I definitely had some height over hers. I don't know how it would be possible but the only thing different was new tires and wheels.

You got lucky on yours lol. It's still a baby with 23.5k miles. I'm about to hit 34k with my '11. Also sat around 18" up front, might have been a little under around 17.75 or so when I lifted at 28k miles. I forgot where I put the measurements lol

How do y'all put so little miles on! I bought my '11 in the with 38 miles on it in middle of December of 2011. I have over 55K on mine, now. We have somebody in our club with an LJ (so '04-06 ish) and they only have 37k. I just don't get it!

I bought mine in 2011 as well with 60k on the clock and it's sitting around 85 or so now

I do over 70 miles a day. But if I don't have class everything is pretty close. I live a mile or 2 from work, I'm a mile or 2 from my girlfriend's house. All close. In the summer, the beach(ocean beaches...) is 15-20min away depending on traffic and if you hit the lights.

I've seen a few people customize their roof racks by using galvonished round piping, and I was at my local hardware store today and saw that they had a few 6 foot, 1" steel tubing that I thought would work better especially with the Rola roof rack. Not sure how I would mount them on the side rails though.. Has anyone else tried this?

Drove up to NJ for break from classes and hit 30k miles. He’s growing up so quickly

Also plowed through some frozen snow to go get firewood. Brother stuck his and my dad’s Rovers there about a week ago, so I got a bit nervous. Luckily, my KK powered through and I just laughed my way back up :JEEPIN:

They're more aggressive so they tend to impact mileage more. It seems that most people who run them took a hit in mileage. Granted a lot has to do with the lift and larger tires, but some who ran stock sizes saw a difference. I'd say they have 1 of the most aggressive tread patterns for all terrains, so economy isn't exactly expected lol.
ok I have them and always wondered why my mpg sucked so bad. Def worth it though!

I did it exactly that way using 6 foot long 3/4 inch galvanized pipes and stainless steel U bolts with lock nuts. I put rubber washers between the pipes and the side rails to eliminate slipping or denting the rails.

This is how I mounted mine. I have 7/8 uni strut spacer blocks too but my kayaks would hit roof so I mostly use the 1 5/8 uni strut.ImageImage

Looks GREAT, LKW! The soft 8's and the roof rack really complement the look.
Once you get the alignment it'll ride so much better. You'll never want to go back to stock.
What's next on your mod list?

Thanks! Tom is right there is nothing better than riding in a coil lifted vehicle. Rides way better than stock.

Next would be a full roof rack and a Atthehelm bumper. Might be a while though. Had to promise the wife to hold off after the lift, tires, wheels and new stereo.

Looks good, Michael. Get an alignment.
Honestly, not sure how much different the ride will be since you're on the same spring rate.
I bet what you're most likely noticing is the different shocks.
