All right gang we have a date nailed down and now we need to now who is planning to attend and items that they can contribute (Ex. raffle or food).

This is a good family event that has had a good turnout let’s keep that going.

Thanks,
Chris Sine

I am still down for both days. I suppose you are thinking a group cookout like the fall crawl. I'm not much for cooking up sides but will bring Hotdogs and/or Burgers for the grill.

I believe we will be joining the group for this one. Need information on camping or hotels and all the "particulars." Is it OK if we bring the hounds?

Thanks Jason, I will start the list with the items. As far as the pooches go I don't have a problem as this is a family event and if they are anything like mine they are a part of the family. Since I will be camping also mine will probably join me at most of my upcoming 2+ day events. I will also get all the info posted for the camping/hotels. I stayed in Brandywine campground last time. They have a lage shelter and plenty of camping spaces. I don't have the info for it yet but I will be posting it soon.

Not to take this too far off topic, but the last time I was down that way and wheelin' I stayed there too. I am a big fan of that place. It was very, very nice for a government-run campground. I would go as far as saying the nicest I have been at.

Oh, and to get it back on subject, I have a little bit of scheduling to juggle, but I am going to attempt to make it out with you guys... As long as you don't mind a Wrangler tagging along.

I will not be there. My son is coming home that weekend. He has 3 weeks worth of leave from the Air Force. Him and I would love to attend, but his wife isn't fond of the idea :? . C U all at the Fall Crawl.

Bummer Mike! I was hoping to see you there.

We will most likely be there with the dogs. I'm trying to get my brother to come up and join us too, so there might be a stock KJ CRD rumbling around. I hope no one minds more company. We haven't decided on hotel or campground, but lean toward camping. I look forward to any and all links to places to stay in that area and/or directions on how to get exactly where we're going.

You guys wouldn't mind another without a Liberty, right? I passed on the info to a friend of mine who has a modified Xterra and he showed some interest in going. 8)

As long as he isn't the type to stand around insulting Libertys (or anyone else's truck choice), he sounds cool to me.

I'm trying to get some of the Carolina LOST guys to come up and join us. I'm right on the border, so I belong to both groups. Does that sound okay to everyone?

He has wheeled with a few of the local folks with KJs. He is not the type to do that at all. I don't like to wheel with the people who behave like that, so you never have to worry about that with me or my friends.

Sweet! Bring him along then SteelCity! I'd love to watch an Xterra playing in the woods! Thought about buying one actually, but the diesel in the KJ won me over.

I'm pointing the Carolina guys over this way. I hope some of them can join us.

Hey bill, do you know if that XTerra was one of the ones that came up to my neck of the woods to play when I showed him Left Hill? Either way, all three of those X's were nice fellas...

Here is the tourism web page for Harrisonburg. You can find all the Hotels and restaraunt info you need.

Well gang it dosen't look like there is going to be a large crowd for this one but we will still enjoy all that GWNF has to offer.

Great info, thanks Chris.

I'm heading down late-late Friday night. Will not have time to set up camp. So I plan on getting a room.

Here is what I see for the head count so far:
--WV(0)IIIIIII(0) -Chris
--W3CSX -Jason
--sstenner -Sharon & Dave and dogs
--SteelCityOffRoad (and friends?)
--OBX KJ
--dog_party -Brady (+brother?)

Any one else want to join in on the fun :?:

Jason

Yes I want to join in the fun! I live about 2.5 hours from Harrisonburg. I just need to know where to meet up with everyone. Maybe directions to Brandywine Camping. I will bring a friend and something to share to cook on the grill...someone bringing a grill?? :)
