Had my 2010 out in some real snow and ice here in NC for the first time since I bought it new.Rcently replaced the stock street tires with some more aggressive Yokohamas.Seemed to be no stopping it! Went around curves with hills leading out ,stopped in the middle of hills, down steep hills, and even backed up my untouched driveway, about 75 ft. of 30 degree hill.Tires never broke free.Yes I am impressed.Maybe some day I'll lift it,get some mud tires, and join you guys Muddin'! :D

What size tires did you get? Pics? If you went up in tire size, did you have to do anything special for it??

Also, what part of NC are you in? I'm in the Lake Norman area...it's like a ghost town out here.

I've been down here for 15 years now, & still have never been to any NC beaches. That's on my list this summer sometime.

Cool...I was just curious. I still have the tires that came with it, but I'll probably upgrade later this year at some point.

I'm in Charlotte. I don't care what the northerners say but that snow storm was brutal. I took my stock KK around town before any plowing had occurred and I too was extremely impressed. I honestly didn't know what to expect but it drove up and down hills through 8+ inches of snow without a hiccup. Plus my tires are just about bald!

Props to the KK. It gets my groceries, gets me to my fishing spots, plus I now have confidence in it being more than just a sitting duck if bad weather hits.

Woohoo another Charlotte area Liberty owner!!

I'm actually in Lake Wylie, but I was thoroughly impressed with how well the Liberty did with that snow we had. I went to Walmart on the Thursday it stopped and the parking lot was a mess of 2wd cars. I had no trouble getting in and out. South Carolina though is terrible about taking car of their roads.

My KK has been a tank in all of this weather we've had down here in the Charlotte area this winter. I'm ready for some warmer weather for one, & sometime in the next 6-8 months, I will probably upgrade to some better tries as well.
