Took some more time trying to diagnose my squishy noise from passenger area.
Today I took the front passenger wheel off and put a jack stand under the driver and passenger side.
Gave it firm pushes from the front end and no noise can be heard.
So I guess the noise is only happening when the suspension is being compressed.
Very hard diagnosing by yourself. Touched and compressed every boot while it was in the air air nothing makes a noise. :juggle:

Torqued down rear shock mounts and successfully cured a clunk. Silverstar Ultras installed. JK hood light bar installed on bumper, but need some longer bolts and a spacer for the KC driving lights. Best mod of the day though was finally getting the Front Recovery System installed (thanks, AtTheHelm!). It's powdercoated red in honor of my first lifted vehicle, an '84 Bronco II, lol.

Finally got around to priming my ATH recovery system. Was going to topcoat it too but the nice weather didn't hold out and I don't want to have to do it again. Gives me time to contemplate my color scheme.. Was thinking of doing Mineral gray to go along with my future scheme.. Or just do it black. We'll see. Thanks again Morgan!

I need to do something about a squeak I have up front on the drivers side. Tore it down last weekend and retorqued everything. Came back in force lol. Gonna try and do it today. Hopefully something just backed off a bit.

Anyone know the bolt sizes for the front swaybar off the top of their head? I might try to take that off before tearing into stuff to see if that's the cause. 18mm on both sides?

Have you tried running it through a car wash? Mine squeaks when it wants a bath.

Just posted about my 4 KC lights for sale in this thread

http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=78738

Getting ready to (hopefully) do mods soon. I’ve got LEDs to put on and hook up, as well as tail light guards that need to be put back on. Oh, and my CB is all messed up. Life isn’t good for Squatch right now :(

Looks like I figured out my squeaking (knock on wood).
It seemed to be coming from my heat shield on my CAI. The sound is gone since I secured it down.
Is the sound only at speeds say less than 10 mph? See if anything is rubbing by your bumper. Looks like my passenger side turn signal was making a little noise too.

As of this morning... I've got front end damage to worry about.... Had a utility truck with a full steel bed lock up his brakes in front of me and I bumped into the back of him

After seeing the aftermath of my jeep and looking at how cars fair in the same scenario I'm impressed with how well even the plastic bumpers protected the important bits(rad/trans cooler etc.) Pictures up in the morning... The steel bed of the truck had a vice mounted to it which punched a small hole in the passenger side of my hood... Lame

Depends on what options you'd like (winch, non winch, hoop etc)

Shoot me a pm.

So can you guys find what's missing????? :)

Image

The bad news is about this mod is that I don't plan on sharing exactly how I did it due to the liability that is envolved with this one.

Removed the rear sway bar? I ran for about 5 months with no rear swaybar with no issues. It's the front that I wouldn't run without.
