now that my kk is seating on 4" springs i need a longer track bar or the rear,
i know jba makes them but don't really feel like paying 400 shipped to that bar, i know we don't have a lot of options on the kk like other jeeps where you can buy track bards for as low as 100.

if any body knows other options let me know, if not i think i just going to get it custom made,

stock kk is 37" ow i need to adjust it probably 0.5" as a starting point. if i am nor mistaken the wk and xk bars are really similar but need to get measurements on them.

What material did you use? That bar get's a lot of stress placed on it.

Little thin for a trackbar but at least you used DOM.My trackbars are 1.5" DOM that is 0.5" walled with 1" Johnny Joints.

i was thinking of that,
i wanted to have my axle centered, don't really need a hd track bar for now...

what got me thinking is how risky can it be if is fails... don't think it can fail as the kk is my daily driver....... but......
you got me thinking now

Well my tie rod(I'm SFA'd) is just a little longer then your rear trackbar and it's 1 1/4" DOM that is 0.281" walled and I can grab the middle and slightly deflect it by hand and it's over twice as thick as your trackbar.I use 7/8" threaded 3/4 ton GM tie rod ends on that and the drag link(which is the same material as the tie rod).I also opted to not use weld-on threaded adapters,I had the DOM directly threaded for the ends being used.

not a bad idea just tap for 3/4 16 on a dom .5 wall
that is better than fabing another section and welding inserts for a 1/4 thick dom
