To me, the 16x12 at E1E50 looks like EGR and so does the 16x16 at E2960 (both adjusted to max).
That leaves the 16x12 at E2016 for FCV (adjusted to zero).

yes the gear are right and Grant too , the lock-up limiter is after the engine limiter , you can try to lowering the engine limiter from 1000 rpm to 1800 -2000 rpm a little bit from reducing torque at low range .........when tc shudder , the lock up limiter start at 10000 point value , but if it is original , you can only lowering the engine torque limiter at low range .......do the same at the gear torque limiter

the first is fcv , do not trust in Titanium definition , the second is the egr and the two hump is the egr hysteresis , make a try , the first map I call fcv .......select all and put to zero , when you shoot down the motor , you hear a tremor , if you put it at 15500 ...max value....this do not appear :wink:

Are you sure? The data values for the first are in the range of 350-1550mg/cy, seems typical for EGR.
The second data values are 0-100, this seems like more of a percent indication like FCV valve close %.

Ok, so I've modified mine a bit...

I have total fuel less than the 811 1.02 "hot tune", the torque limiter is higher, though. I also reprogrammed the boostXrpm 1,2,3 maps to be the same, without the massive trough in them.

I upped the part throttle rail pressure a little between 1600 and 2800 (not full throttle).

I used the torque limiter maps from the Hot tune as a guide. I have higher midrange, lower bottom and high rpm.

Wow, it rocks. It effortlessly runs along at cruise now, where you used to have to push it.

I dropped the 3600 and up advance way back to a little over the lower speed values.

So, we'll see how the fuel economy goes. I also need to study the part throttle advance map and "clean it up". It's crude and rough right now. I'll fill it up and see if I can get 80 miles on it in a couple days.

If this works would you be willing to do the same thing to the 808 map as well?

-Grant

If you become the tester of this, maybe you should also consider a pyrometer?

More boost reduces emissions, but decreases economy.

I know that more air needs more fuel but don't you get where you want to be with less pedal? Thus better economy.

Closing the wastegate valve creates more drive pressure - which creates engine drag and consumes power to do.

However, it's a price you pay to get more horsepower from smaller cubic inches.

Do I have to lower some another map also to get torque lower in 4th and 5th gear? What about that lock-up limiter?

I believe those 7 torque limiter maps are:
1=1st gear
2=2nd gear number 1
3=2nd gear number 2
4=3rd
5=4th
6=5th gear
7=reverse

What do you think? When it was stock, there was never any shudder...

Do we KNOW this for sure, that these maps are for different gears?

Ok, so I tried it. One of my maps was 4500 all the way. I upped that one to nearly 4800 and copied it to all of them.

THAT made a difference! I have the Suncoast, so no shudder or even anything feeling funny. But holy cow... the 1-2 and 2-3 shift under power is serious. Especially 1-2. When it hits 2nd, it shoves you back in your seat and the scenery accelerates quick. Then again, my fuel's turned up a bit.

I filled up and will have to put some miles on to see if it helps the mpg, which is what I really want.

Can you tell us what the max torque (Nm) and HP is for your tune? (settings)
Will it be safe for a daily driver?

I have loaded the Stage IV Max tune by Yeti this evening, will start testing it out tomorrow.
Yeti, can you tell us what the settings are for the 811 Max tune you sent me to test? :JEEPIN:

The torque on gear in your are already touched do not ask more torque to your engine :wink:

the torque on the gear are limited at low range and increase at hig range , the only gear that have 4500 always is the reverse and i do not touch it , for those have the Suncoast , you can try to increase the low range at 4600 and in hig range to 5000

I set them all to about 4800.

There's no reason that the 545 RFE can't handle the weeny 300-350 foot-lbs this thing puts out.

Sorry I haven't see that you have the suncoast , yes this can manage all the torque

Since putting the last tune in, I managed to get 105 miles on the odometer. It's mostly consisted of commuting ( mostly stop and go 35-45) and about 20 miles of running the living snot out of it on the interstate. I've been heavy on the "go" pedal the entire time.

105 miles / 4.25 gallons. That's 24.7 mpg. My last tank of fuel was 300 miles of commuting and 80 miles of interstate and it was 20.3 mpg.

Just in case you were wondering... I've checked the odometer against a GPS odometer and against the "check" mileposts on the freeway, and I'm not off more than .1 mile in 5. I'm off 1 mph on the speedometer at 75, and as close the GPS would ever get me, a few tenths out of 75.

Today, I drove 328 miles a
cross Illinois - at about 75 - 78 most of the way... 328 miles and 13 gallons.

Obviously, there's more to be found.

I drove yesterday 200 kms and towed a light trailer half of that. With the trailer EVIC showed that my consumption was 8.2 liters/100km (~28.7 mpg), about 1-2 liters less than with the stock flash. When I did the return trip without the trailer EVIC told me that consumption was 6.8 l/100 km (~34.6 mpg). I drove around 100 km/h and did a couple of kick-down overtakes too, usually in this same route I get around 8.2 l/100km without trailer.

Of course the EVIC is not 100% accurate but consumption is going to the right direction. It feels like the Jeep now goes noticeably lighter at lower rpms..

good , the right way is to make the jeep going lighter at low rpm , but find the right mixture of air and fuel are not simple , for what I'm testing an 6%-8% at low low load and rpm and an overboost time at low rpm increase the mileage , a 10%-14% at high load can make a fluid increase in performance especially when you make a WOT , the think we take in mind , is ...how many fuel increase I write in ECU ? at what rpm and load and how many percentage ? , at the same manner you give the fuel , you must increase the limiter on engine and gear , the infinite increase on limiter take a feel on an infinite shooting when you do a WOT , do not increase the turbo to much , for him life expectation , a 100 150 point max , but a 100 point is a good compromise do not increase so much a fuel rail pressure , the CP3 is a 1800 bar pump that work a 1600 bar , I do not go over 1680 bar ...... is useless , the right way for increase fuel in a CRD is the injection time , the rail pressure is increased for compensate an eventually emptying flute rail , yes more pressure more fuel , but is not the right way :wink:

The rest of my trip... 473 miles, and 19.7 gallons.

350 of which was 75+ interstate. I've not made any high speed gains, only commuting gains.
