I just got a check engine light P0672 for glow plug number 2. 6 months and 5000 miles is all it took. I hope the other 3 last for the next 95k like my OE ceramics did. I put my old ceramic back in for now. I hope Corey at ID takes care of me.

The CEL does not even work in the Libby with the Etecnos, so I am not even sure if they have failed yet or what?

It works on my jeep. Got code p0672. Ohmed out all 4 plugs. 1, 3 and 4 read 1 ohm. #2 read 50 ohms.

"I am wondering if the relays are sticking and causing the plugs to overheat." I purchased a new relay after having new Etecnos installed and one failed. Then another. Now I have two more failing. Just fixed a P0093 code and will move on ot the two to three possible failed plugs.........are we talking epidemic here?

I had problems with Etechno's due to cycling the key to get it to heat faster (voltage for about the first 2 seconds after a key cycle is about 2V higher), a common practice from what I see on this forum. Blew 2 in about 30 days. Anyway, I don't do that any longer, and I've not blown an etechno plug in about 4 months.

I had 2 go in a month this winter. I have yet to pull them and contact idparts about it since it's now warmer weather. I'm sure with all these problems we will be covered

At least you can use the #2 plug as a dummy load for your CB radio...
