Hi ebb, I don't think I was running torque this morning but the recent addition of the app and the Bluetooth plugin definitely had me wondering...strange coincidence! But I still wonder about your assertion, what about the real time feature of the app? Much of the reason I got it is for that. Should we crd types not use it?
Anyhow, just got home to my dead crd in the drive and it does appear to, at the least, be an alternator issue... So I'm on the hunt for an alternator now!!
Connecting to the PID's with Torque and monitoring them in real time is ok, but reading and clearing codes should only be done with the engine off and key on.
Glad you found the problem and got it fixed. Thanks for posting the solution.
